Agreement between Movistar+ and DAZN will reach new fans in Spain

Formula 1 can today announce that from March 1st, following a three-year agreement between Movistar+ and DAZN, that DAZN will offer full coverage of the Formula 1 World Championship™ on the DAZN F1 channel. The channel will be available to Movistar+ and DAZN customers.

The agreement involves DAZN acquiring the rights of Formula 1 until 2023 which will continue to make Formula 1 more accessible in Spain. This agreement comes at a great moment Spanish sports fans, with the 2021 season offering Carlos Sainz driving for Ferrari and two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso returning to the sport with Alpine.

DAZN F1 begins its broadcast on March 1, 2021 on both platforms and will provide full coverage of the race weekends. DAZN F1 will be a 24/7 channel dedicated exclusively to broadcasting the Formula 1 World Championship™. DAZN F1 will include a main UHD channel and 4 more multichannel signals available and its team of experts will include expert coverage from the likes of Antonio Lobato or Pedro De La Rosa.
