Formula 1^® drivers Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon are set to take on global football superstars Diogo Jota and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and content creators WillNE, Chesnoid, Liam Kalevi, AverageF1Consumer, MaximeMXM and ElReyGuiri, in a special sim racing event ahead of the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2024. ‘The Ten Racers’ competition will see the stars battle it out in a virtual race around the iconic Monegasque street circuit on the new F1® 24 video game, which launches on 31 May.

Taking place today (Wednesday 22 May) at 19:00 BST (20:00 CEST, 14:00 ET) ‘The 10 Racers’, will be hosted by former W Series driver and current Sky Sports presenter, Naomi Schiff, and P1’s Matt Gallagher, and will be livestreamed from Monaco on the official Formula 1 YouTube channel. The event will kick off an action-packed weekend of racing in Monaco and will test the drivers on this year’s EA SPORTS™ game, F1® 24, for the first time ahead of its launch.

F1® 24 will provide fans with its most realistic gaming experience to date with the introduction of the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling feature which enhances precision control and redefines the feel of the car across both wheel and controller. The latest instalment in the series of EA SPORTS games will also see a revamped ‘Career’ mode, and developments to some of the iconic circuits on the F1 Calendar.

Players who pre-order* the digital-exclusive F1® 24 Champions Edition gain immediate access to a selection of new-season F1 team liveries for use in F1® 23’s Time Trial, as well as receiving James Hunt and Juan Pablo Montoya as Icons, 18,000 Pitcoin, an F1® World Bumper Pack, up to three days of early access starting May 28, and one bonus VIP Podium Pass.
