EA SPORTS’ F1® 23 to launch June 16, featuring Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit and enhanced ‘Braking Point’ story mode

Formula 1® and Electronic Arts Inc. have today announced F1® 23 will be available from Friday 16 June and will include multiple new features, as well as providing players with their first opportunity to virtually race at the Las Vegas circuit ahead of the inaugural FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023 in November.

This season’s highly anticipated game has also reintroduced the popular story mode ‘Braking Point’, which will see the return of young upstart Aiden Jackson, as well as his Konnersport Racing Team, team-mate and protagonist Devon Butler. The new chapter will also include a host of new characters, fresh rivalries, and racing challenges along with twist and turns along the way.

As well as the addition of the Las Vegas circuit, the Lusail International Circuit, Qatar, will also feature for the first time on this season’s game as the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX returns to the F1® calendar in October.

The handling on F1® 23 has been refined from last season, allowing for more predictable behaviour and new vehicle physics, improving the cars traction when braking, accelerating, and cornering. Following feedback from fans, other new features include the addition of 35% race distance and red flags, offering players an improved race strategy.

Celebrating his back-to-back FIA Formula One World Championship™ wins, EA SPORTS Ambassador Max Verstappen has been confirmed as the cover star for the exclusive digital Champions Edition. This version allows players to gain three days early access to F1® 23, starting on Tuesday 13 June, along with multiple other benefits including 18,000 PitCoin.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton will appear alongside Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc as the cover stars for the standard edition of F1® 23.

F1® 23 will release across, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC via EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
