F1 in Schools STEM programme launches in Miami Gardens ahead of inaugural Grand Prix

Ahead of the first ever Miami Grand Prix, which takes place 6-8 May 2022, F1 in Schools has launched in the City of Miami Gardens, with the Seek Foundation.

F1 in Schools is the largest Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programme in the world, operating in over 50 countries worldwide, with bright young minds having the chance to be inspired by hands-on interactive experiences.

Researching, designing, building and racing an F1 car of the future is at the programme’s core, with kids developing key engineering and social skills along the way. The programme can be used as an education tool or hook to engage students in STEM subjects and gives them the opportunity to develop key skills such as communication, presenting and teamwork, while forming the foundation for any career path they choose to follow.

F1 in Schools will be working closely with kids from the local community and is part of a wider initiative designed to drive youth education and business development in Miami Gardens.
