F1 Kids broadcast returns for Abu Dhabi season finale

Formula 1 has announced that it will produce a third F1 Kids broadcast for the 2023 season finale in Abu Dhabi, following earlier editions in Hungary and Singapore, with new broadcasters confirmed to carry the feed.

As with earlier editions, F1 Kids will be available to broadcasters around the world via a dedicated International Feed of the Grand Prix. The feed will once again feature 3D augmented graphics, child-friendly team radio transmissions, technical explainers and a bespoke package of colourful graphics and animations, including the cartoon driver avatars.

A full English-language version of F1 Kids will be available with live commentary and analysis, remotely provided by a selected group of young presenters from the studio at F1’s Media & Technology Centre in Biggin Hill, Kent. International broadcasters will also have the option to version the Feed in their local language.

Since its debut on Sky UK and Sky Deutschland at the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2023, F1 Kids has been broadcast across multiple territories around the world including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas.

Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula 1 said:

“I am delighted to announce F1 Kids will return once more for the season finale in Abu Dhabi. As we sign off another incredible season, F1 Kids is a great example of how the F1 broadcast has evolved and developed over the course of the season to keep fans engaged whilst also reaching new audiences. Abu Dhabi is always a special race, and I can’t wait to see F1 Kids further enhance the spectacle of what is expected to be a thrilling end to a historic season.”
