Formula 1® is pleased to announce a five year partnership with The Memento Group, to launch ‘F1 Authentics’, a new online destination for F1 fans wanting to purchase authentic, race-used memorabilia.
F1 Authentics will be hosted on the Formula 1 official website, F1.com and goes live today at www.f1authentics.com. It can also be accessed on the go using the F1 App – downloadable on both iOS and Android.
It will allow visitors to bid for memorabilia by auction or shop hundreds of ready-to-buy exclusive items with prices to suit every pocket. Each item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
F1 Authentics will continuously update the items for sale and will feature driver race wear including helmets, suits and gloves, signed memorabilia and products re-engineered from race-used materials. It will also offer the chance to purchase complete race cars charting the history of the sport over the last 50 plus years.
F1 Authentics will be the official authority in F1 memorabilia offering fans of the sport a service not previously available.
“Our mission is to help fans around the world get closer to the sport, giving the drivers and teams a place in their homes and lives. The Memento Group offers the perfect solution: an innovative approach to memorabilia that prioritises race heritage, authenticity and usability – and the proven software and systems to deliver for an audience in the millions. The result is F1 Authentics.”
“We are pleased to partner with F1 to bring F1 Authentics to its millions of fans around the globe. Our bespoke software enables us to deliver a white label portal for sports brands offering single account access to auction and retail services and integrated fulfilment from our warehousing facilities. But more than that we are a business with sport in the blood and are thrilled to help fans ‘own the moment’.”
‘Owning the moment’ is Memento’s ethos of sourcing race-used memorabilia that has played its part in racing history and giving it fresh life as part of the home.
