The Formula 1 World Championship has been awarded a 3* rating, Achievement of Excellence, within the FIA Environmental Certification Framework. 

As the highest level of achievement, the 3* rating recognises Formula 1’s clear commitment to environmental management and establishing best practice processes that will support continual improvement of the sustainability of our operations.

This represents an important foundational step for F1 – ensuring we can deliver long-term change within our organisation and taking a leadership role in communicating and sharing knowledge with our key stakeholders.

F1 will continue to work closely with the FIA to build a stronger and more sustainable motorsport for the future.
