Formula 1® renews partnership with podcast producer Audioboom in multi-year deal

Formula 1 has today announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with leading global podcast publisher Audioboom. In a deal through 2025, Audioboom will continue to work alongside Formula 1 on the production, distribution, and monetization of Formula 1’s official podcasts including F1: Beyond the Grid and F1 Nation.

Formula 1’s official podcasts have been downloaded more than 80 million times since their launch in 2018 and have received industry recognition.  The award-winning and critically acclaimed, F1: Beyond The Grid , presented by F1 journalist Tom Clarkson, features in-depth interviews with current stars like Sir Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, plus legendary champions from the sport’s past. F1’s second official podcast, F1 Nation, brings listeners into the F1 paddock to hear racing insight, and behind-the-scenes stories. Clarkson is joined by 1996 World Champion Damon Hill, Sky F1 reporter Natalie Pinkham and a host of other drivers and experts.

Audioboom’s production arm, Audioboom Studios, will co-produce Formula 1’s podcast slate, while the Audioboom technology platform will power global distribution of the shows. Audioboom will also provide co-monetization services for the partnership through its premium advertising products and Showcase, its global ad-tech marketplace.
