Gulf Air renews as Title Partner for the Bahrain Grand Prix until 2027

Formula 1 has today announced that Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will once again renew as the Title Partner of the Bahrain Grand Prix between 2025 and 2027 (inclusive). The airline has held the prestigious role ever since the first race in Bahrain, 21 years ago – the longest of any partner.

As the first Formula 1 race ever held in the Middle East, that first event on 4 April 2004 broke new ground and established a tradition of world-class motorsport in the heart of the Arabian desert.

This year, the FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2025 will take place between 11-13 April (after Ramadan, which is expected to take place between 1-31 March). It promises another exhilarating weekend with high-octane action and unparalleled entertainment under the desert sky. The race also offers a vibrant festival atmosphere, featuring world-class entertainment, gourmet dining experiences, and a unique blend of Bahraini culture and international flair, which attracts fans and visitors from around the world.

2025 is sure to deliver a dramatic season on the track as the field has been shaken up with team moves amongst the established drivers and new arrivals from Formula 2 to the F1 grid.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer, Formula 1, said:

“Gulf Air’s enduring commitment to the Bahrain Grand Prix is a testament to the power of long-term partnerships in motorsport. We are thrilled to continue this collaboration and look forward to more thrilling racing and shared success in Bahrain.”

Jeffrey Goh, Gulf Air Group Chief Executive Officer, said:
