IMG to broadcast Formula 1 in-flight and in-ship in multi-year partnership

Formula 1® has today announced that IMG has secured the in-ship and inflight rights to broadcast Formula 1 on its Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra channels for the next three seasons.

The deal which runs through to 2025 marks IMG’s return to Formula 1. Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra will broadcast over 150 hours of live coverage plus highlights from all race weekends to travelling fans. Starting with the FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX on 5th March, 2023 will feature a 23-race schedule, across five continents, including the inaugural FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX.

Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra is currently available onboard a number of aircraft carriers and cruise liners around the world including Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, MSC Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Silversea.
